Code: BLACK is established for the express purpose of growing a social community of software developers, encouraging students to participate in public affairs, and encouraging diversity in STEM majors. Code: Black strives to increase retention rates of underrepresented communities in Computer Science at the University of Maryland. Our ultimate goal is to help our members achieve educational, professional, and entrepreneurial success while at the university and upon graduating.
